Please keep the residents of Leeton safe with a fully operational police station. The town is growing at a rapid pace and needs a string police presence to ensure residents feel safe.

This shouldn't be an issue.
The small community's safety and welfare should be top priority, not shuffled to the bottom of the list. Doesn't help when those that are there to protect us don't have back up themselves. More police, more jobs, safer town and in turn a growing community

It is ridiculous we do not have a full time police station in this day and age. I called the police to a domestic situation in our street once, they turned up the next day, the neighbours had to intervene to save a baby being torn in half!

We need to feel safe and know that if we call for help that someone will come!! There are do many elderly people living alone that they are becoming targets . Anger in the community will end up with a vigilante attitude and that's a worry as well.

With the recognised 'ice' problem, the number of break-ins and home invasions I am surprised (and disappointed) that this petition is needed!
