Restore Funding for Tourette Syndrome in PA State Budget

So many cases are still waiting to be diagnosed. Stopping the fundung will also stop the diagnosis from occurring.

It is completely ridiculous and frustrating that Governor Corbett does this every year!

Please restore the funding for Tourette Syndrome. Specifically for pa-tsa to help support those who suffer this illness through no fault of their own. If we want to stop mental illness crimes we must increase funding to study and assist with these problems. Everyone wants to turn their heads until someone they know is harmed or affected by this. Please help those that need it most like these folks. Thank You

This organization needs funding to continue to help children with tourette syndrome in the schools. Children with disabilities need advocates in the public school system.

My 6 year old son has been diagnosed and currently there is no cure for Tourettes. Would you still eliminate it if this was your child?

The programs strengthens an adults ability to live and independent life and allow children the resources to grow into productive adults

Not funding Tourette syndrome is a s lap in the face of people with Tourettes and their families. TS effects self esteem and can cause muscle pain, seizures, physical injuries (falls)

Please keep this funding our children need it.

I suffer from Bi Polar Manic Depression, Anxiety Dissorder, Chronic Migraine Headaches,ect., and I understand completely about Mental Disorders. There Is So Much To Learn, and There are So Many People Affected with all kinds of Mental Disorders that are undiagnosed because of lack of knowledge,it is a crying shame. Many lives have been lost because of this ignorance. The sad part of this all is that we are human and we all have a right to fair treatment & equal rights as citizens, but if you take awy funding, it's like You don't even care about those many thousands, or even millions of people who suffer every day with Tourette Syndrome. Which is awful, because I happen to know people who have Tourettes & they are Geniouses, and are very well capable to contribute to society like a 'Normal' Human Being . What Is 'Normal' anyway ??? When Tourette Patients are medicated and monitered and have people around them that care about them, who want to help them, they excel . Please have some Compassion and Reconsider your thoughts of cutting funding for Tourettes. It's an issue that sits too close to home for me . As ou Governor, You should be Fighting To Make Possitive Change in This Country,Not just Disgaurding People with Mental Disorders. In my estimation, Those Chosen People Fight The Hardest to Prove They Are Worth Something in This World , Don't discredit them.
