Restore Funding for Tourette Syndrome Services in PA

PATSA needs its funding by the state. They have helped so many families with advocating and supporting the familys by help educating the schools of a child with TS.

My son has Tourette’s and we need all the support and awareness possible for this condition. It’s highly misunderstood and very few educators understand it. Please help us advocate for more support for our children.

Please reinstate funding for Tourette’s. My nephew’s future depends on it. Thank you!

My son was bullied is school by teachers and other parents because of his tourettes. Told to stop the noises and movements. Even his father would tell him to stop.

Services to help any child with any sort of disability should never be cut, regardless of funding. Children are not something that be disregarded due to financial duffuculties.

Please sign to continue services by Tourette’s Syndrome Alliance are covered for families affected by Tourette’s Syndrome...also to educate others in schools, community about the crippling affect OCD and other diagnoses that co-exist along with Tourette’s syndrome. Please keep this program. They have helped my son tremendously! My school was not educated on T.S. and they came in to a 504 meeting and explained everything. Everyone understood and then the advocate volunteered to educate the staff during an in service for all ts students. Please keep it!

This condition is almost as prevalent as autism, but almost completely understood. These services need to be developed not cut. We need to be able to educate and help more people with this lifelong debilitating condition.

Funding and services are needed.
