I have traveled for two several weeks long trips to AK. The one type of wildlife I saw no sign of existing was Wolves. So sad the intact wilderness of AK will not permit Wolves to live unharmed-- stop killing Wolves in and around Denali. Please stop the destruction and instead maximize the genetic diversity of wolves before it is too late. It is taking chances and potentially quite destructive to the wolf species to continue to kilk so many wolves. Please, we know not the gravity of such "culling" on the survivability and health of wolf populations.Protect Denali Wolves.

They are critically endangered and numbers have dropped from 143 in 2007 to just 48 in 2015. Reinstate emergency buffer zone!

We the undersigned support reinstating the Stampede Closed Areaon Alaska state lands surrounded by Denali National Park. The closure would prohibit the taking of wolves by hunting or trapping within the designated boundaries (shown in map below). The closure would provide needed protectionfor the wolves of Denali National Park when they move into this historicallyimportantpart of their habitat.

My family is interested in traveling to Denali to view wildlife - in particular, wolves. We have recently learned of the dramatic decline in the Denali wolf population and urge you to create buffers around Denali to help preserve the wolf population and, with it, economically beneficially tourism.

Extending the safety zone is a great idea. So then those who want to kill the Wolves take a few steps back before they shoot. Then what? Extend further, then further? Why not protect ALL of AK's Wolves!?!

Please save the lives of the wolves. You can stop the hunt. If we don't do something to stop all of this carnage we will historically commit specific genocide of the wolf population. This can only be equivalent to what Hitler did to the jews. This is a barbaric event that needs to end.
