I was only informed that our beloved livejournal community, biskiits.livejournal.com has been purged last June. I do not own this community, however. It belonged to an internet writer with the pen name: danica. She had brought to us the wonderful Chicharong Flower, The Prince's Homecoming, Best I Ever Had, 7 Days: Menelli's Toughest Mission and alot more wonderful stories and one shots. She had won several online literary awards and is really known in the fiction writing world. She's known all over fanfiction.net and fictionpress.net although, as she claimed, both said accounts are not in use anymore. I was not really able to read her last entry but from what I had heard, she said that she was only given 48hrs to save her works and that she had been reported 4 times for inappropriate content. Now here's the deal, 48hrs does not give justice to 7yrs of work. I am a loyal reader of this danica from her very humble beginnings (year:2005) when she still have her wrong grammars and up to now, (year:2012), where we can all see how the talent flourished. So why had livejournal deprived her the justice of time? Another thing is that, SHE NEVER WROTE ANY NC-17 STORIES despite the thousand requests for her to do so. So why was she purged because of 'inappropriate contents'? Livejournal should have at least read her entries themselves and not rely plainly on the reports. I tried to contact her through her email address but I am yet to receive her reply. I also emailed her beta-reader, Quinn, and this is what she said: 'danica's busy with her school so you have to be patient but she'll be really happy if she sees this petition. the last time i heard from her was when she posted her last entry. she told me that she'll try her best to find a new site to host her works and she'll reupload all of those. but she did not specify when she'll exactly do that since her school resumed.' So for now, let's help her gain the justice she deserves. Sign this petition now and ask others who have read her works to sign it too. You can put your real name or your livejournal account. Let's make our voice be heard.
