Restore Crossing Guard at St. Mary of the Assumption School

For 27 years I have pulled onto 202 from school and never feel safe unless a crossing guard is there.

Please reinstate the crossing guard position for the St. Mary of the Assumption School in Upper Marlboro before there is a very serious accident. It is very dangerous trying to exit the parking lot in the morning during rush hour. I have waited almost five minutes on numerous occasions waiting for a clearing in traffic in order to make a left turn.

The guard is a necessity for safety reasons as the two lanes in front of the school has been made into only one and cars do not adhere to the speed limit. I must zoom across both lanes with my child in the car.

Our lives matter! Kids lives matter!

Safety First!

People speed less since the speed camera was installed but it is still dangerous and difficult to exit the school at certain times of day.

Safety First! So everyone goes home.

Please help us keep our children and families safe.

There is going to be a serious accident because we no longer have a crossing guard. Cars do no go slowly up the hill on 202 by our school. It is very difficult to turn out of the school.

Let's try to avoid a serious crash and passenger injuries.

202 is a very busy road we need a crossing guard.

Please bring the safety guard back!
