I totally agree with Ms. Tucker, I've been saying the same thing since the first week of school. Restating what she wrote, "Please allow for the reinstatement of the crossing guard. This would not only be for the safety and welfare of the teachers/students attending and/or those visiting St. Mary of the Assumption school, but also for those drivers/passengers riding in the cars with them. With the reinstatement you would also be providing a safer travel route to every driver that happens to be traveling on Landover Road (near the school) prior to the start of the school day and especially at dismissal. It is always better to be proactive (reinstate the crossing guard NOW) in a situation than reactive (crossing guard is reinstated following a bad accident on Landover Road near the school entrance/exit prior to the start of school or at dismissal.)"

My little brother attends this school and I have seen how hectic and dangerous is can be trying to exit the parking lot at dismissal. Please reinstate the crossing guard for the safety of the students, parents and loved ones.
