Restore Community Servers, Hardcore & Portal Freedom in Battlefield 6
For nearly two decades, community servers, clans, and Hardcore players have formed the backbone of the Battlefield franchise.
Battlefield 6 represents one of the strongest foundations the series has had in many years. Its stability, frequent updates, and improved communication with the community are widely recognized and appreciated. Precisely because of this positive momentum, now is the right time to address the remaining structural issues that directly affect long-term motivation, fairness, and community growth.
At present, Portal and Hardcore players are being held back by unnecessary restrictions that make it difficult for communities to sustainably support and keep Battlefield 6 alive in the long run.
Current Issues
• Severely limited Portal server settings compared to previous Battlefield titles
• No 60 Hz Hardcore servers, resulting in weaker hit registration and responsiveness
• Limited or missing full XP progression in Portal and custom modes
• Missing essential server administration tools (team switching, balancing, live admin access)
• Dominant FLIR optics that significantly harm fairness and tactical gameplay
• Lack of official Hardcore and classic Battlefield modes in Portal
What the Battlefield Community Is Asking For
• 60 Hz (or higher) Portal & Hardcore servers
• Full XP progression for verified and custom Portal modes
• Full server administration tools (team switching, balancing, kick/ban, live access)
• Complete Hardcore feature set, as seen in Battlefield 3 & Battlefield 4
• Granular restriction options for weapons, optics, gadgets, and vehicles
• Rework or restriction options for FLIR optics
• More verified Portal modes, including classic Hardcore presets
• Sustainable monetization models for communities willing to pay for premium server features
Why This Matters
• Community servers are the reason BF3 and BF4 remained active for many years
• Clans and established communities create stable servers, fair matches, and long-term player retention
• Hardcore and Portal players are not a niche — they are among the most loyal Battlefield players
• Many communities are willing to invest in premium servers if they are given the proper tools
This is not a nostalgic request.
It is about sustainability, fairness, and the long-term future of Battlefield 6.
A Constructive Appeal
This petition is not an attack — it is an invitation to collaborate.
With the right Portal tools, proper Hardcore support, and an open server infrastructure, Battlefield 6 can become a long-term milestone for the franchise — comparable to, or even more enduring than, BF3, BF4, and BF1.
The community is ready to actively support this path through feedback, testing, engagement, and fair monetization.
Please support this petition by signing and sharing it.
If you care about the future of Battlefield, Portal, and Hardcore gameplay, every voice matters.
