Will be on staycation next week and was hoping to spend time on the ORV. Saw most of it was closed. Very disappointed :(

please know that i obey posts on Race Point Beach when i am able to enjoy being on the beach (due to extra time given to only walkers and the piping plovers.). please give consideration to humans that mean no harm. I sure miss being there!

Blocking access to the Seashore isn’t necessary for ORV and birds to coexist, they have right along. Protect the nesting birds, just allow vehicles to drive into the beach from another road farther down the pole road. It will fill in over the winter storms! Those who can’t follow simple rules should have their permits revoked. A few ruin it for everyone! We love and appreciate the National Seashore. It’s our right to be there!

Reasonable measures would still allow much more of the beach to be available for driving and still protect nesting shorebirds

I’ve visited 15 national parks as far as Utah . No park ever kept visitors from participating or limiting in what the park is offering! EPA needs to reevaluate not just the bird issue but the massive seal population settling on the sand bars dropping their excrements in the surf & beaches.Thousands of seals have attracted sharks along these parks causing fear & death.

My family has stopped vacationing at the Cape because of the limited access. Will not go back until we have proper beach access

I’m glad to see someone is taking the bull by the horns on this. Our family has been going since the early 70’s and it’s been sad to see how little (if any) of the ORV corridor there is to use nowadays.

My wife and I have been season pass holders for OSV and MBBA for many years. Our vehicle has not touched the sand since 2017 due to the uncertaintly of access during our vacations. There is no question in my mind that we are no longer wanted here. Correct me if I am wrong, but the NPS is paid for with taxpayer money, shouldn't we have a say since we pay the salaries????
