CHP management recently transferred two dedicated desk clerks, Charlotte Rivers and Javier Romero, to new worksites. Managment never discussed the transfer with the workers nor with the Union. The workers prefer their old buildings and want to switch back.

When asked why the workers were transferred, management refused to give a real answer and essentially only said, "business needs."

SEIU 1021 demands that management reverse the transfer and explain the "business needs," because we believe that:

*Happy workers is a BUSINESS NEED.

Open communication between management and staff is a BUSINESS NEED.

Positive relationships with tenants is a BUSINESS NEED.

Respect is a BUSINESS NEED.

By signing this petition, you agree to the needs above. Charlotte and Javier need your support, but it is not just about them. This is a campaign for all CHP union employees and tenants. On the one hand, it sends a strong message to management, protecting workers from being immediately transferred in the future; and, on the other hand, it will provide tenants with the stability and a sense of trust that comes from long-term professional support developed over time.
