We the public, therefore, ask that script writers, producers, composers and others in the arts exercise basic standards of decency and respect for the names GOD and JESUS CHRIST by not presenting them to actors to use as mere expletives.

Every major religion demands reverence for the name of the Supreme Being. Indeed, we are commandedin the Bible not to use the name of the Lord in an idle, useless, disrespectful manner. To do so violates the spiritual sensitivities of those who are exposed to irreverent dialogues in movies and plays.
