Respect the Victoria Grove one-way traffic system

I have witnesses near accidents with cars driving the wrong way. Something must be done!

We need to keep this area safe for our children. I have 4 who walk around the area and the change of use will definitely put them at risk.

please do install traffic cameras. it is dangerous for we residents, not to mention schoolchildren, when cars abuse the one way system.

The crossroad is already quite dangerous with rather little visibility and temptation to go fast. Having cars coming from the wrong adds a significant danger.

Unfortunately some drivers bounce this system because it is so short, but in doing so cause considerable risk to the many pedestrians in the area. An additional deterrent is badly needed.

We support the petition and any electronic or mechanical means to deter wrong-way traffic on this road.

I support the oetition to put in measures to enforce the one way system.

I can understand the temptation since the alternative is a long way around. However, the actions of those drivers who ignore the signs seriously endanger the young, the old and anyone stepping off a pavement expecting the rules of this road to be observed.

Very dangerous finding vehicles coming the wrong way on a one way street

I echo all the comments about Victoria Grove; also second Mr. Haworth-Booth about Canning Place. Those deliberately taking an illegal short-cut back to Kensington High St. via de Vere Gardens do so very fast because they know it is wrong. Frequently I have seen a near-miss at the blind corner: people coming down de Vere Gardens do not expect a maniac suddenly appearing. Canning Place is very narrow at the Glos. Rd. end and pedestrians often forced into the road - look westwards but don't expect traffic from the east. Cameras and spot checks please!

The present situation is clearly dangerous and needs to be controlled perhaps by traffic lights.

Peace and safety should remain paramount.

The safety concerns especially for the school children and elderly is paramount.

I observe drivers breaking this one way system regularly as I live on Victoria Road.

My small children and I have almost been run over by scooters and cars going the wrong direction here...

Fully in support of the proposed petition. In favor of everything to reduce reckless driving in the area. There is also a peeding problem on Victoria road whihc could affect kids around schools whihc has not been addressed.

I support the introduction of traffic cameras to protect my 6 year old child.

This happens on a regular basis and is extremely dangerous, especially for the school children
