Don’t build there please. We need our park. We don’t have much.

I oppose building a parking structure in the middle of the marina. This public Waterview space is the only public space that Yonkers (especially west yonkers) has for a great view, and ease of use.

Parks are for people not parking lots. This park is the only river access that the public has in Yonkers.

I strongly oppose the proposed Glenwood Power Plant development as it would be an infringement on our desperately needed parkland and waterfront.

Please keep this precious expanse of waterfront accessible to Yonkers citizens without having to view the river from a parking structure.

We need to preserve what little parkland and river access we have for the people of Yonkers. Do not engulf us with development and parking lots.

This park is used by the community and provides access to the river. A parking lot in this location would destroy the marina.

There is so little public waterfront access still available in Yonkers already, and the waterfront is something that makes the city great. We should be actively protecting and enhancing public waterfront spaces for our residents, not selling and closing them off.

This park is used constantly by the community and provides access to the river, fresh air, and recreation. A parking lot in this location would be an abomination.

Haven’t we learned anything from history? Using public property to support private development is wrong. The taking of Park Lands in a city that is becoming denser in population is wrong. Parks are for people, not parking garages. Find a different solution.
