There are better ways to do things and preserve the park for the future use of the tenants of the power station and the surrounding areas.

All across the country cities are reclaiming their water fronts with new public parks and spaces that celebrate the natural beauty of their cities. Yonkers has the opportunity to do the same, but NOT with a parking garage that supports private developers !!

The JFK marina is priceless with great views of the river. I have enjoyed this location for many years .I have lived in this area for my entire life. I will say that the people who use this marina follow the rules and clean up after they have finished enjoying their day at the marina. The marina should be limited to Yonkers residents only.

Neither park should have been considered in the first place. The developers need to accommodate their need for parking on their property.

With all the construction going on in Yonkers. It is good for the City. But, once again Yonkers missed the boat. Most of the work is being done non-union. for the prices the developers are charging,(getting). The city, and it's elected officials, should of taken care of the working people of this city. And not let people from who knows what city come here to work. That is why in white Plains, they adopted the (PLA).
Project Labor Agreement. Protects everyone, workers, developers and subcontractors. Yonkers elected officials and city council gave incentives and never protected, or secured employment for it's own taxpaying citizens. Just my opinion I havYonkerse lived in Yonkers for 60 Years. And Finally I it is what it is. Sad. But, True.

Do not allocate any public park to a corporate project. The original project should have included ample space to accommodate the workforce. Lack of planning on their part does not entitle anyone to infringe on publicly enjoyed lands.

I cannot even believe that this is up for debate. The Marina is legendary. The conversation should be about giving it landmark status, not defacing it with a parking garage. Are you serious??

Please city officials, do the right thing and protect our precious parkland.
