I too am a alumni of Los Angeles High School class of 1980. It saddens me to see my school with outdated bleachers, dirt track, football field needing to be replaced and the need for permanent lighting for the football field. It is a shame that our school who won a Championship last year has been upgraded and brought into the 21st century. Los Angeles High School carries the name of our city and yet for us alumni and seeing other schools who haven't been here long enough with all the bells and whistles while the City of Los Angeles name sake hasnt had any upgrades since I attended my high school. We are asking you to do for Los Angeles High School what you have done for all these new schools. We are the only high school that bares the name of our great city. Since it does it should be a representation, a crown jewel of our city. Thank you Alumni class of 1980

Many inter city schools have upgraded tracks and fields. Why has LA High been neglected?

We need to upgrade facilities. Why not, for the oldest high school in Los Angeles.
