As a resident of North Hall Road, what would ordinarily be a minute or two journey to Patmore End or Old Mead Road is now almost ten minutes to the same location. Whilst the lack of speeding cars is welcomed, the amount of displaced traffic this has closure has caused cannot be good environmentally if the time added is tenfold. Perhaps as part of this road's repair, speed calming measures could also be implemented which would help preserve the road's integrity.

These works should have been actioned months ago the diversion route is now becoming badly damaged as a lot of stretches of this road are single track. To get to Widdington or Newport now takes much longer and costs much more in fuel. Please get this sorted.

It’s absolutely ridiculous keeping a road shut when no work is being done!

This road closure makes access to Newport further than alternate routes which is more costly.

With 9 months gone and no end in sight how are we to have faith in our public servants and good governance?

Totally unacceptable that this road remains shut . The Patmore End diversion is now an utterly dangerous situation where the verges are massive trenches !!

This important and vital link in and out of the area of Elsenham and Henham , going Norrh, has now be closed for 9 months with no progress at all, thus is utterly incompetent, also the diversion is even more dangerous and unsuitable, with only one other option through Ugley, which is also narrow and very twisting, unsuitable for heavier quantity of traffic

North Hall Road also has issues with a blind bend, being too narrow for cars to pass each other safely in some areas, as well as the quantity and speed of traffic which uses this road. No doubt heavy usage of this minor road over recent years has contributed to its collapse and must be addressed.

As a resident of the Patmore End area of Ugley I have to say that this diversion has gone on far too long already. I am utterly horrified at the damage done to my neighbour’s front lawns and the grass verges in our village where motorists try to pass each on this single track road unfortnately not using the necessary passing places.
