Resolution: Freemasons Shall Not Countenance Sedition

Sedition and felonies have no place in freemasonry and I question the judgment of a Mason who cannot tell the difference between treason and protest.

Support for a political opinion or position is a personal decision. One's presence at the rally in D.C. last week is not (nor should be) a matter for public or private debate, but relegated to personal choice, and one's own conscience. However, participation in any act of violence, or violation of law, is non-Masonic by every reasonable standard.

These actions should be condemned by all true Freemasons.
