Absolutely appalling. I was at The Pirates on the Prom day and cannot understand what they spent any money on there. The only thing I am aware of the council doing was some flags!!!!

I think the fact that these councillors voted against an investigation, are not prepared to explain why a lottery application for the Pirate Day was not submitted shows a lack of experience and incompetence on their part. They should resign immediately

Roy Mann should go and resign from Cornwall council as he is responsible for giving his authority for use of the council's standing order in 2002 which have cost the local taxpayers thousands in a illegal criminal court case of which my husband and myself now have a criminal conviction causing irreparable damage to our reputation our health and our property

People need to go, greed, lies and corruption should have no place in our town council...we have enough lies and cover ups on a national government scale, we don't need it here as well.

What the hell are they spending it on, not the town, then they try and make it back by charging ridiculous park park rates and council tax rates for the shop owners. Start again, get rid of them all for people who care about our town.

There is no way that something like this - affecting public finances and costing local residents to rectify - should go unpunished or investigated. Those responsible should be held accountable.
