Premier Notley: Request the Resignation of MLA Deborah Drever

She does not deserve to be in any position of the provincial government

No place for this type of behavior in any form of government. "We all make mistakes" is no argument for her keeping her job..

she lacks life experience and skills to participate in government.

Please ! If you are going to run the Government and Province with people like this I am moving to another province, there are so many qualified people to pick from would this person be on the board of directors of a big corporation not likely.

A person who has no respect for her own country flag, how will she/he ever respect the people living in that country?

I did not vote for this candidate after reading her platform as I could already tell she was under-qualified. I'm quite disappointed that my fellow neighbours voted her in. I would very much like to see her resign as I question her ability to take her position as MLA seriously.

I sincerely regret that Canadian flag desecration is not forbidden by law.

She should be removed asap

I was in the process of moving into this riding during the election and was horrified to learn that this individual will be representing me. I understand the follies of youth, but clearly Ms Drever's questionable behaviour had not resolved itself as of less than one year ago. I sincerely hope Ms Notley recognizes that her party did not properly vet their candidates, and replaces Ms Drever with a more qualified individual. I shudder to think that tax payers will be shelling out over $100,000 per year for Ms Drever's salary if she remains in office.

I am a constituent in Ms. Drevers riding and I am appalled. The complete lack of judgement in a few elements is concerning, but I find her disregard for individuals and portrayals plain offensive. I will never support the NDP as long as she is in seat.

I have seen the album cover. I have seen the photo here. Fitness? Where was that question when our dear departed former Premier showed up drunk at a homeless shelter throwing money at the inhabitants? He was "sorry". So what; He was the Premier! Did you sign a petition to get rid of him? By the way, in Canada we spell honourable with a u.

Disgraceful immature behavior!

Honorable Premier Notley, Please recognize that Ms. Drever has shown poor judgement in offending the laws, the flag and women of this great nation. They may be spoken of as the follies of youth. However, some follies will limit her effectiveness to support good judgement in setting policy for the benefit of Alberta.

This is so obviously lacking in common sense and moral judgement and does not have what is needed to govern the province. She will only be a source of problems and embarrassment to the party unless she is replaced by a suitable candidate.

Her Unpatriotic and disrespectful attitude is plenty reason enough to get her out, how does publicity like this make our country look as a whole

I am unclear how at any age giving the Canadian flag the finger is funny or ok. And I am incredibly saddened that not even an apology or admission that these were bad choices were requested from the NDP party. This is who is leading our Canadian Province? So disappointing.

It is important that Rachel Notley puts someone more qualified in this riding. Deborah dowsnt have the experience, credentials or respect to be an effective MLA. A by-election with a new candidate will allow the NDP to show that they care about the quality of candidates in the government and that they are here tostay.
