As a resident of Calgary Bow, I am deeply disappointed and embarrassed to be represented by Ms. Drever. Regardless of the photos, I do not believe she has the life experiences to adequately perform her duties as an MLA. At least I now understand why the NDP signs in this area read "Rachel Notley" and not Deborah Drever. If the NDP party takes running this province as seriously as they take vetting their candidates, we could be in for trouble.

We voted for the AB NDP. We did NOT vote for this. Get rid of this MLA now or the problems for the newly formed NDP gov't will continue to build from this. I have never seen someone finger the flag & be proud of it.

It's sad that this girl was allowed to run. She clearly lacks the maturity and you have done a diservice to her by not being honest about that. Now thisyoung woman has made a critical error in judgement and damaged her professional reputation before her career even began.

It's so unfortunate that our riding voted for a party and not for a candidate. Had most of them taken the smallest amount of time to do a little research, I'm sure they would not have voted for this young, inexperienced woman. I agree that the NDP won fairly however, I would like to see a qualified candidate in this position. I detest the fact that my tax dollars are going to pay $127,000 per year to this young woman. I want someone with the experience to represent me and my riding. I DO NOT feel that this candidate has enough life experience or knowledge to be an MLA.

Ms Drever clearly does not appreciate the fact that her disrespect for our flag prove that she does not appreciate that the reason we are able to vote in a free society is because our forefathers died to give us that right.

This young lady is an embarrassment to all Albertans. Those who voted NDP, those who didn't, the riding she is representing and the NDP themselves. If this is the sort of candidate the NDP thinks is fit to represent their voters, then it shows the NDP's utter contempt for the people who voted for them. Please replace her with someone more appropriate who is fit and experienced to represent the people of Calgary-Bow in the manner befitting of a leader. Someone who understands the needs and concerns of those people. Not someone who is so clearly unfit, inexperienced and ill-prepared for the position. If Ms Drever would like to expand her horizons, perhaps she should take a supporting role in the NDP, to learn how to be MLA if that’s what she aspires to. Rather than being catapulted in a position she has no experience in. Learning on the job is fine for many jobs and careers, but when it comes to leadership and representing a large body of people, a person should be prepared for the position and know how to do the job for day 1.

Most people voted based on who they wanted to run Alberta not their section of where they lived. They deserve an honest hard working canadidate who embodies positive work ethic.
