Willful negligence of duties should be grounds for termination. The problems with the emergency comm system must be fixed immediately. Fletcher needs to go.

I urge Mr. Fletcher to do the right thing and fix our communication system immediately. Listen to your own personal. Instead of spending funds on consultants take those funds and fix the system.

I agree. 911 isn't and hasn't been efficient for YEARS. An individual attacked my daughter, grand daughter and myself in 2017. We called 911. Took over 45 minutes for any response. Was on with 911 dispatch the whole time and police NEVER showed. Dispatch said no police availble. The situation escalated severely. We were attacked physically. Very traumatizing. It never should have happened and we, as a family will never get over it.

So there is actually lots of money sitting in the budget exactly for upgrades 3.2 MILLION. Fletcher is pushing to join Wahington Counties system so wants to keep ours in shambles. We as a county cannot keep up with tax money the same as Washington County every time they decide to upgrade or change their system.

As a senior adult, living in Scappoose, I do not feel our community is being served by the person in charge of our 9-1-1 system! I expect so much more from the current leadership and I wish for him to be replaced!!

Yeah but do we know who actually holds the purse strings? I suspect the problem lye's with a county official.

Budget committee is giving him a raise for not doing his job? Sounds like he wasn't qualified in the first place. He can go.
