Coach Bennett Johnson, Head Coach at Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro, NC has negatively impacted the community, football program and most importantly the pride and hearts of the players on his team with a very poor coaching decision to end their 2015-16 season with lies and dishonestly. Coach Johnson chose to email the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and opt-out of the playoff with what he said was with out the appropriate signatures of the Superintendent, Principal and Athletic Director. Not only did he do this he told the team he was hired to coach and teach on and off field lessons that they simply did "NOT" make the playoffs. By signing this petition we are asking that Principal Brian Weeks and Superintendent Micheal Dunsmore make an administrative decision to end his career as Head Coach at Goldsboro HIgh School.
