Residents’ Petition to Initiate Air Selangor Meter Individu Pindahan Application Before AGM

We, the residents and owners of Dian Residency, are submitting this petition to formally request that the Management Office (MO) take immediate action to initiate the Meter Individu Pindahan (MIP) application with Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd before the upcoming AGM.
Currently, Dian Residency operates under a non-domestic bulk water meter, resulting in residents being charged commercial water rates that are significantly higher than the standard domestic tariff. This situation places an unnecessary financial burden on all residents.
According to Air Selangor’s official guidelines, high-rise developments, including service residences on commercial-titled land, are eligible to apply for individual water meters and may also request for domestic tariff classification if the units are primarily used as residences. Importantly, this process can be initiated by the developer or Management Office even before a JMB is formed.
Therefore, we, the undersigned, respectfully urge the Management Office to:
1. Submit the Meter Individu Pindahan (MIP) application to Air Selangor without waiting for the AGM;
2. Engage with Air Selangor’s Meter Management Department to confirm requirements and timeline; and
3. Update residents in writing on the progress and documents needed from unit owners to support the application.
We believe that prompt action will help ensure fairer and more reasonable water billing for all residents of Dian Residency. Delaying this process until after the AGM will only prolong unnecessary costs to the community.
