Residents of Wyre: Replace Bottle Crates with Standard Wheelie Bin

Crates are unhygenic and in windy weather leave dangerous broken glass strewn around the place

Fed up with plastic bottles etc blowing out of the boxes and littering the streets. Also would hold more. Safer for animals, a headghog got snared up in our green box net.

The bin men actually tip the crates into a wheely bin anyway if there are a few crates stacked together.

I constantly have other people's litter blown into my driveway. Bin much better and safer for wildlife

I'm only 35 but having had back problems I really struggled to carry them plus water poor service out when carrying and they also allow contents to be blown all over road on windy days much prefer wheelie bin

No brainier if it helps reduce litter on the streets from overflowing boxes.

Not fit for purpose!!! especially hairnet cover, far to heavy when full, also acts as a water butt!! So NOT environmentally friendly, more waste blown across roads, gardens and public spaces, just wondering how much the clean up costs you and the devastating results on our wildlife!!! TOTALLY RUBBISH !!!!!

The little crates are a menace as bottles and cans blow all over the street

Hi I would like the green crates replaced with a bin please, as the crates / recycling get blown all over the place, so litter goes every here so no good for the environment and get so wet talking it out. Please look into this

Would be very helpful as bins are constantly getting lost / broken on the estate (Hawley Gardens), probably had 4 boxs in the 3.5 years I've been here, not lost a single bin. Surely it must be cheaper for the council to give 1 bin than multiple boxes. Just my 2 pence!
