We would like to see San Juan Bautista remain a 'special' place to visit the mission and shop in the quaint downtown. It would be a shame to have this lovely place destroyed by this raceway. And not a soul has mentioned the noise that would be generated by the raceway and by the greater influx of visitors. We are against this development, we want to see San Juan remain a quiet, lovely place to visit.

I'm totally against having an F1 race track less than a mile from my home. San Juan Batista is a small historical community of less than 2000 people. In the plans for this race track they say that it could house up to 250,000 people... the traffic impact, noise impact, and the fact that San Juan Bautista doesn't have the proper infrastructure to support such a venue. We don't have a police department, our water situation is dire, and not to mention the highways are already gridlocked on the weekends. It is ridiculous to even entertain and idea such as this.

I agree with the objections listed in this petition. If this property is to be developed, I would favor a community college or vocational training center in combination with a park with recreation trails.
