Extremely concerned about the truck traffic on our already overused road! The effect on property values and our peace and quiet are not reversible.

As a nearby resident my wife and I are both concerned about the blasting, increased heavy truck traffic, and industrial noise from this proposed gravel mine. This area is residential and should remain that way.

I urge you not to grant this ill-conceived request. Gravel extraction requires the removal of all vegetation and topsoil as well as subsoils. Nearby ecosystems, including Rust Pond, will be severely impacted, as will wildlife habitat. The project is highly inappropriate for this location.

Please do not allow Green Oak Realty Development LLC a permit to excavate for the purpose of creating a gravel pit on Kings Highway in New Durham.
Do not allow this company to destroy our environment, air and water quality.

We did not spend a great deal of time and money giving a conservation easement to the town of New Durham to have a gravel pit just down the road. This is a residential neighborhood and should remain as such.

This proposal threatens Rust Pond as a watershed and public safety. It is not in the best interests of the community.

We are exceedingly concerned that Rust Pond will be permanently damaged by this activity. Secondarily, Middleton Road is not equipped to handle such traffic.

This noise pollution and dangerous traffic pattern will lower the value of all properties in the area. Therefore, the town of New Durham will have to drastically lower tax rates on all properties or face massive law suits.

I moved to Wolfeboro because so much of the Seacoast where I went to high school is overdeveloped. If we want to maintain the beauty of our state that allows for our thriving tourist industries, we cannot allow projects that tear down our natural habitats to proceed unchecked and unregulated.

Before permit issued more studies on impact please! Noise, heath, habitat, wildlife, waterways, damage to road ways, There's the impact and danger on narrow windy Kings Highway/Middleton Road to cyclists, children at bus stops, joggers, add 70 trucks to the already dangerrous Weston Auto corner/ intersection-Scary.

Beyond the high level of tax payer funded impact to maintain our roads, and more importantly, are the adverse health effects this blasting site will create on not only humans, but the wildlife. There are no apparent studies for this location on whether there will be dewatering; thermal impacts and temperature changes in the springs and/or surface-water streams; if the ground water will have an interruption in flow paths; or if the turbidity levels in ground water will be impacted by the blasting. Will our fellow citizens lose water to their wells? Will our fellow citizens have their water supply filled with particles that keep them from being able to drink their water? Will wildlife be lost as the surface is torn away and temperatures in the underground water rise or fall beyond their norm? Will water that is slated for one of the various local ponds be rerouted causing significant harm to local ecosystems? Every other issue aside... (i.e. the harm the loud noises create to not only our wildlife, but even to the lowering of our children's reading levels); we cannot stand idly by and allow the monetary gain of Keith Babb over the health of our fellow citizens and environment.

This is a dreadful use of this land and it will have a directly negative impact on the aesthetic environment of your region which is what you've worked so diligently to maintain. The noise and dust and dirt from the blasting from sun up to sun down as well as the heavy trucks will be ruinous!

This has a huge impact beyond New Durham's borders and must be stopped. Please understand the violation of the greater good.
Get your rocks elsewhere please.
What a terrible idea!!
