I strongly oppose this use in a primarily residential neighborhood, too many trucks on a narrow road and undetermined environmental impact.

As a Shaw Pond homeowner, strongly oppose the possibility of extreme traffic, noise, pollution, bedrock instability, and other side-effects of mining/blasting and commercial/retail sales in a pristine residential country setting. NO!

Very much against this quarry! The affect on the environment and our quality of living will be significant. With not only heavy vehicle commercial traffic to the quarry, but public sales also, will create more hazardous traffic conditions than we already have on Kings Hwy. The road is already dangerous without center line markings.

As a member of LWGC, this use of the land adjacent to our Golf Club will destroy the peaceful enjoyment of the activities of our 150 members and their family.

I oppose the Bedrock Quarry Project. This will ruin the peaceful and beautiful area I call home. Property values will drop, disruption to the lives of the people who live near and around this are and all for profit! My house is directly across from the lot and am very concerned with the potential of this passing. Please rethink this project for the sake of the people who live here.

This proposal should be denied.
Middleton Rd. is too narrow and winding for that amount of truck traffic and would create a dangerous situation. It also will severely impact the residents and the natural beauty of the area.

I am opposed to such mining there. That is a residential area and too small of a road for all those trucks. I vote to preserve what is there for the residents of Wolfboro and New Durham. There are other places to play with trucks and gravel, not in our back yard.

Just found the Public Information 2013 Bankruptcy on Keith Baab, who is the owner of Green Oak Development, LLC. What's interesting is he stiffed the same operators who would be required to crush rock, haul sand, etc. for his proposed gravel pit in New Durham/Wolfeboro. The listing of those companies, banks and individuals is clearly delineated in his bankruptcy listing. Click on link

This plan is not only folly, it's dangerous! Homeowners and residents on Middleton Road in Wolfeboro are now dealing with increased commercial traffic since the road has been rebuilt by the Town of Wolfeboro at great expense to taxpayers, Because of the steep grade from the Wolfeboro Electric Building down to Route 28, trucks use engine brakes, which cause loud noise and vibrations in my home and other homes along Middleton Road. Most of the homes are older and built close to the road. Such an increase in trucks, heavily loaded with gravel & sand on Middleton Road would be a safety hazzard, and cause serious deterioration of the road within a short time.

The town of Wolfeboro has always had the reputation of a quiet, peaceful, vacation resort community. This project would help to destroy that! I would hope the local chamber of commerce would be 100% against it, as I am.

This is an extremely poor and dangerous plan. This is very likely to be detrimental to the aquifer, conservation land, wetlands, and stream running from or near this property and into Rust Pond, and potentially irreparably damaging the lake. This plan, which includes the blasting and destruction of the site, and severe truck traffic in a residential area, threatens the health of all waterways and wildlife for miles, and the quality of life, and property values for all the families in the area. Additionally, there is a serious concern of any opportunity to seek retribution or damages from this company/builder in the event of an environmental disaster, based on his financial history.

The quality of life for residents and businesses is at risk with a project being proposed. It must not allowed.
