Any projects that could possibly change the landscape around our homes should be thoroughly examined and ok'd by us. Doesn't that make sense?

Any development should go through zoning Zoning Ordinance Amendments 2020-11 will turn johnston into another City instead of a rural area with no oversight into what is being built etc. stop the amendment to the zoning

Bob Russo is our Town Council president who like myself was born and raised in this town and also raising our 2nd generation here. I would like to know how he feels about losing the power of his voice if this ordinance passes. All residents need to reach-out to the Council President!!

Years ago, a developer failed in his attempt to construct 'affordable housing' along Brown Avenue...thanks to a neighbor. Later, the state's proposal to build a water park on state property was quashed. We need to do the same with this proposed zoning change and preserve these woods and open lands.

I am opposed to the changes of this ordinance! I’ve been appalled by what’s already happened in areas of our town. Condos popping up near Citizens Bank complex and off Central Ave. Chopping down trees, tearing up the land, destroying habitats for wildlife. Now the possibility of renewable energy entities further destroying our rural landscape? NO WAY!!! Not in my neighborhood!!!!

I’m a homeowner in this area. This is a beautiful part of town. I strongly oppose this zoning change.
