The Board of Supervisors need to remember that they serve the people of Greene County. We are not here to serve them! Who will profit from the water project?? Who will profit from the subdivision already in place on the shores of the future resevoir???

The county can't afford this right now take a break from it.

Considering the tax implications, especially to those of us on well water, it seems overly excessive. I also think it will be a hardship on the people of the county. Not all of us have extra hundreds of dollars per year.

Since growth rates don't justify prioritizing the reservoir as a part of an overall water infrastructure need, it is time to reevaluate priorities, perhaps toward improving the aged distribution system now.

I don't know if signing this will make any difference but here I am. I'm tired of paying the sinister and some attorneys I have talked with illegal RSA facility fee and it seems that RSA BAILOUT fee won't go away anytime soon. The BOS has said in past meetings Greene County needs the reservoir to attract businesses meanwhile several years back they ok's a huge development off Preddy Creek Rd. called Creekside. Eleven Hundred townhomes and 300 single family homes. There was no consideration about water use then (Just the BOS salivating over the tap fees they would collect and the Preddy Creek/US 29 connector road proffer) or the safety of Preddy Creek Rd. for that matter, but it got rammed through. Thankfully Freid canceled the project. Obviously, our property values all went up (as our property taxes will soon be raised as well) to pay for this monster. Why are our tax dollars being used to bailout RSA's missmanagement/incompetence?

Not only should they put this effort on pause, maybe the State Police or the FBI should investigate if the participants have broken any laws (ie: RICO).

Maybe look for more efficient and cost saving options

Why can't we lower the percent to something more reasonable? 1.5 or maybe even 2%? Doesn't that sound a bit more logical?
