Rescue Resthaven Cemetery

My father's plot is sinking and needs repair; they are trying to charge me.

My parents, grandparents and my husband are all under water at Resthaven Cemetery in Avon Ohio. We paid for perpetual care and are devastated by the conditions of our loved ones grave sites. The state of Ohio and City of Avon must push for the care of the families buried there. They should be fined thousands of dollars a day for their negligence

My parents are buried there and the condition of that cemetary is just awful. The owners and caretakers should be ashamed of themselves.

I live in Florida and just came up to Ohio and went to visit my parents grave last week. I was shocked by the condition of the cemetery. At first I thought the place was abandoned. I photographed flagpoles falling over, cut off tree stumps in the grass, dead trees, beer bottles in the trash cans, broken trash cans, headstones over grown with grass, untrimmed hedges, roads in disrepair, mud all over, nothing but weeds growing in the grass areas, the chapel appears to be ready to collapse from rotted wood, and a total lack of maintenance for the property.

I remember this place has a child I have many family members in there. I just had to bury my daughter and I was so embarrassed of the conditions of this place. They have more excuses than anyone I've ever talked to. The grounds are awful and the groundsman are rude. I have put flowers I my parents 3 times within the last month because of people stealing them. They claim they are working on it. How long does it take to work on something like this? The prices are out of control also. They assure things are being done well or not fast enough for me! Unbelievable

I have loved ones there and it's terrible.

My dad's grave gets like lake Erie when it rains .weeds are always around his head stone.makes me so upset

I have several family members at Resthaven and my mom & dad would like the whole family there.. l have paid 1/2 of a pre-burial plan, and am considering asking for my money back if this whole flooding situation isn't resolved.. It's disrespectful and criminal to our loved ones .

Found out today my brother's headstone is gone and my parents headstone has shnkaen 6 inches and the year of my dad's death is now gone I am so upset that this has happened to my parents and my brother .

May my other siblings are highly upset with the conditions my father and mother rust in peace are both buried there and before my dad's passing last April up into day he died has always been fighting them and arguing with them about my mom's site after my dad's passing they went allow me to fix my parents own site but I'll set other on my hand than these spreading the mud around the fill in the deep gassing holes left from the ground settling and sinking in after trench will rains and I understand that happens but weeks went by without them doing anything now I on the 2 plats next to my parents Where does the palled by these conditions my grandparents wasn't that great and I tended to it over by The Bible we have a lot of friends and family and relatives in the cemetery and it's a shame that we lose our loved ones but not only up also to go out there and speak to them and spend time with them to go through and see the conditions that they rest in if this appalling and ridiculous thank you

This is where my family is resting and this needs to brought up to the conditions they were when we laid them there. This wasnt what we thought are family would be experiencing. Its hurtful to see the conditions the flooding,the over grown grass.

My sister, Patricia Brooks, was laid to rest in Resthaven in 2003. The ground stays muddy or saturated and most times we are not able to get to her grave. I have been to her grave and the marker was totally underwater. This problem needs to be fixed.

My mother's been gone for 5years but you can still see the area were they buried her because the ground is suck in and needs to have more soil on it. Also there is weeds scattered about. It needs grass seeds. This is Sad and pathetic! They have gone to Hell!! I guess I'll have to do it.

This is ridiculous. You people need to do your jobs. Most of my family is buried there and I can’t get to them without walking through ponds of water. Do better Resthaven.

My father Lee welser a veteran is buried there and he is under water and stone unlevel. So upset why do I gotta wear boots to visit him and see such deployable conditions. He a VETERAN !

Does anyone have information on how I can get my family members moved there is also a plot there for my brother who is down syndrome at this point I don’t even want to have to put him there any feedback would be appreciated this is devastating to me my father went there because he was a veteran and thought everything was going to be so well taken care of

I lost my husband and father last year and they are both buried at Resthaven. I am sick when I go there because this is supposed to be peaceful and their resting place. What I see is water everywhere and big holes. My Mother cannot even walk over to see my Dad because of all the water and holes.
