Mindy works so hard to provide the best care possible for those animals. She does it all by herself. She truly has a heart for every animal and has never turned one away.

Running a Rescue in the countryside is like a neon sign saying, "Dump Animals Here when Owner is not looking." What could anyone dedicated to Rescue do other than care for these , 'Unwanted inconveniences', as best they can. Instead of helping her, a Citizen of that County in stopping people from illegally dumping; so-called Authorities waited until they thought the time was right, and pounced complete with News Media. Despicable yet Typical. Yes, things were messy and chaotic but as I watched over the last three years, I saw large adoption events, corporate sponsors helping with donations and a grass roots network that was beginning to gel and possibility become one of the largest no-kill Rescues in West Texas. Please do not take my words for an obituary. Take them for possible seeds, lessons learned and a resurgence to build and to create what was once almost there yet with a lot of hard work,will be better than anyone could ever expect.

She was clearly trying to help the animals. She runs a RESCUE. It's not her fault that people dump off poor, neglected animals. She puts her everything into helping these animals. She should be praised. Instead of taking the time to take them all away, y'all should be taking the time to volunteer or make donations to the sanctuary!

I've known Mindy since i was a kid. I know she wouldn't do anything to hurt an animal. I believe she deserves to have her animals back and to continue helping the community. She has done so much for animals thay didn't have a chance. She has taken in so many animals that were denied by other rescues and that the animal shelter would have euthanized. She spent so much time nursing these sick and abused animals back to health when not one other person or organization would. Please allow Mindy to have her personal pets and livestock back and to continue helping as many animals as she can.

We are all pulling together to help Mindy. So many of us though "oh, well other people would help", but truth is not enough helped her! She vets and takes good care of those babies! The place may have been a mess, but when you buy a property and nobody helps, one person can't take care of the debris left behind when they are solely focused on feed and vet visits!
