Rescind the Plattsburgh Law to NOT feed stray cats

The cats are still going to be hanging around wondering where their food and water went .. sure they will hunt, but it won't be enough..and how do you propose catching tthem all to be vaccinated and microchipped when they run at the first sight of humans. Wake up. This is not the answer.. people feed these abandoned cats out of compassion, something that whoever disposed of them in the first place, is totally lacking..there has to be another answer, denying them of what they are used to is only going to starve them.such a sad situation, indeed!!

This law is just wrong stray cats depend one nice human beings to feed and water them until they can get taken in at a shelter and given their forever home im so glad that i don't live there i live in chateaugay

Feral cats should not be held responsible for the actions of irresponsible humans. They deserve to be fed without holding feeders responsible for medical care taking of these animals.

This LAW is absolutely disgusting!!! Where is your compassion? Maybe you need to look for go look for it . I do not support this in anyway .

These animals did not want this kind of life. It is people that caused it and starving and letting them freeze is and should be against,the law NOT A LAW.

That is very crewl and inhumane they were all ready cast aside now u want. Them to starve to death catch them fix them and find them home u don't let the poor things die like that how crewl a person must be to do this

How cruel!Why not lock up people who dispose of their animals or refuse to spay/neuter,and contribute to this .This may be the stupidest law to date!Starve living beings who no fault of their own are out hungry just trying to survive!

This is a BS law.... Start arresting people for throwing these poor animals out.... If people weren't getting anals they can't take care of then these poor babies wouldn't be out on the cold

Come on Plattsburgh this idea is ludicrous. People dump cats not because they can't feed them, the vet bills are crazy expensive. Not the cats fault so why would you starve them out. Talk to college kids about picking up cats then dumping them at the end of their stay!!!! TNR works

Take this law off the books and work with rescues and private groups to help these cats.
