It saddens me our unique neighborhoods are being ruined by these overgrown infills.

Irresponsible development incentivised by misguided politicians.

Because it will destroy the culture of our neighborhood, creating extreme chaos for parking & garbage & crime.

I bought in my neighbourhood to enjoy my yard, plant my garden and don’t want be denied sun for them to grow. I say No residential infills!

To preserve the beauty of our single family residence community. We chose to purchase here because wider streets, beautiful mature trees in our boulevards and it's a safe quiet community of friendly neighbors we know

Infill without parking, schools and community services will crush our property values, clog our streets and overflow our communities. This is without consideration and consultation with those who invested in Edmonton and voted a council, that has their agenda over the voters that put them in their position.

These infills are too tall. No consideration has been given to existing Homeowners.

My neighborhood has several different infill styles. All are tasteful and reasonable except 1. We call it the “Frankensteins House”. We don’t want another!

I don't believe there are enough checks and balances to Edmonton's current infill strategy.

City council has a lack of understanding how neighborhoods were developed, what we expected next door and within our neighborhood. Zoning bylaws introduced in the 1970s and 1980s driven by aesthetic concerns and building standards, cities restricted mobile homes from the traditional neighborhood to designated mobile home parks. Multi-family units belong in a zoned area for multi-family units.

We thought that this was a self limiting phenomenon that wouldn't occur in our neighbourhood. Well as a lifelong Blue Quill resident, we are seeing the genesis of this type of behemoth development staring to spring up. It's obvious to so many that these zoning approvals are occurring without neighborhood consensus. It's only a matter of time before this type of uncontrolled zoning affects neighborhoods all over Edmonton. We want transparency and a fair democratic process regarding zoning bylaws.

Development without consultation has been destructive. It destroys the good sense of community, blocks sunlight for many, creates unsafe driving conditions and stresses parking and infrastructure resources. This is not the Edmonton I know.

No one wants a 4,6,or 8 unit dwelling (with no responsibility for parking) beside a small bungalow. Responsible infill only. Change the zoning bylaw now!

Do not support infill in single family home neighborhoods

I believe in responsible infill that enhances existing neighborhoods. Not infill at any cost for 'houses' that are going to ruin all the character and charm that is mature Edmonton.

The new multi unit infill units are not functionally integrated into their blocks. Their neighbours are suffering the consequences.

I live in the Goldbar neighbourhood. The blanket rezoning the city has been a huge burden on homeowners, and city council should have had us vote on these new policies instead of deciding behind closed doors. I understand the need for more housing units in the city, but there are more acceptable and tactful ways too accomplish this. Right now you have a developers paradise who dont care about the surrounding context of the neighbourhood they build in, and its very disrespectful to us.
