I think this is big brother going too far...young people join the military at 18...get married at 18 but can't smoke.. they know it's bad for them and it's still bad if you're 21 or 31..!!!

Kingston's Board of Health has overstepped and should be worrying about the effects of wind power on residents. How clean our grocery stores & restaurants are. Not wasting time creating bogus laws that just show they're out to look good and tell people they know what is best for adults.

Beyond their scope. Terrible habit, but not their place to regulate

18 is old enough to make this decision

This is a complete over reach of the boards power that will hurt small businesses in town. At 18, you can defend our country, go to college, vote, buy a home, etc. but you can't buy tobacco in town? Ridiculous.

If they can be drafted and serve our country they should have the right to decide if they want to smoke or not getting tired of Big Brother!!

It's not about the tobacco issue. It's about citizens rights

Another example of government interfering in our lives. If you think having a law like this makes us a better community, you are sadly mistaken. All that will be accomplished is hurting business because if you think people won't drive 5 minutes to Plymouth, you're sadly mistaken. STAY OUT OF PEOPLE'S LIVES.

I agree. If 18 years year olds can serve their country, they can decide whether or not they should smoke. The are fighting for our rights.

while I am completely against tobacco use...I feel that at age 18 if you are able to vote and able to enter our military then you should be able to make your own choice

Smoking is bad we all know that. However if you can vote and die for your country at 18 then you should be considered old enough to make your own choices. It's time we stop over regulating and controling peoples personal choices. You want to help young people do something about the heroin epidemic.

I have never been a smoker, will never be a smoker & honestly dislike the smell of cigarette smoke, if you're considered a legal adult at 18 & can fight for our country, you shouldn't need the town babysitting your lungs!
