it sometimes takes 14 days before someone knows they are sick. We do not have that many people up in our small community that have it, nor do we want to. Keep it limited to residents only until they lift the order for everyone. We are taking every precaution to keep it safe by social distancing, washing hands, wearing masks, gloves, and staying at home and stores closing early, mandating anyone who enter the stores to have a mask on or they are not allowed in. Why would you even think about letting non residents up here to possibly get our community sick? That is just plain wrong to do that. We have all been working together to keep it away. Why would you do that to us?

For the safety and health of our local citizens due to the COVID 19, the opening of the lake needs to be extended to stop the spread of the virus in our mountains.

I do hope this is resolved before this pandemic gets worse. I am a concerned citizen of this community . We already have people from down the hill who shop our markets, wiped out the shelves , Traffic is now starting , and this is only the beginning. Opening the lakes and Parks in our community will only bring more outsiders who throw thier trash around our beautiful mountain. We will be finding more dirty diapers on our lake. As it is , used masks and gloves are now thrown onto the ground. If you must open the parks and lakes, it would be for the mountain citizens in our community . People must be a resident in order for them to enjoy the lake or Parks. Big Bear had residents only. Why dont we have the same order . Thanks for allowing me to post my concerns.

Considering the fact that we have not officially flattened the curve. Is it possible that opening up the mountain and Lake Gregory is just a little premature!?! Also..how can you invite folks to come up, when you have not made restrooms available??

Our community consists mainly of individuals who are 60+ years old. It would be devastating having the lake open. We have small markets that everyone uses. If they come up it's a matter of time before they all are infected..

Don’t open it! It’s not worth anyone getting sick and dying.

I'm 67 years young. Please delay the influx of visitors until we have a treatment, cure or vaccine We seniors pick up our nutritional lunches three times a week at Lake Gregory. We all want to stay healthy too

Its Ridiculous that a petition has to be proposed when the epidemic is still spreading ? What's wrong with the responsible lake officials ? Oh I know ...$

We must keep stay at home in place, at least until after the second wave of infection hits the country.

As a former employee, I strongly believe the general population crowding to lake would be extremely detrimental to the collective health of local mountain residents
