HI MOUNTAIN RESIDENTS OF LAKE GREGORY,
AS OF TODAY THERE IS AN COUNTY ORDER TO OPEN LAKE GREGORY AND SURROUNDING PARKS IN THE LAKE GREGORY COMMUNITY.
WE HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE ON OUR MOUNTAIN TO HAVE LIMITED NUMBER OF INFECTED AT THIS TIME. WE PRAY FOR THOSE 16 AND THEIR RECOVERY. OUR HEARTS ARE WITH THEM.
THIS COUNTY ORDER WILL SURELY INCREASE OUR NUMBER FROM 16 TO AN INSURMOUNTABLE NUMBER. WE HAVE A VULNERABLE COMMUNITY HERE WITH RESIDENTS THAT ARE 50 PLUS IN AGE AND WITH THAT POPULATION COMES RESPONSIBILITY.
IF WE OPEN OUR BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY TOO SOON WE WILL SEE A FIRESTORM OF CASES IN OUR COMMUNITY. BECAUSE WE ALL GO TO THE SAME STORES, THE SAME POST OFFICES ,THIS IS ASKING FOR A LIKELIHOOD OF A DEADLY SPREAD OF COVID19.
WE WILL ALSO SEE AN INFLUX OF PEOPLE OFF THE MOUNTAIN THAT WILL BRING POSSIBLE INFECTION, FROM THE OC, AND SAN BERNARDINO AREAS.

Will the County open and maintain the closed public restrooms for all the daytrippers who will travel to our community? This is a very significant hygiene concern.
It is clear that people are not compliant with the safe distancing. They can't even throw their masks away. They also don't pick up their own trash when they visit up here or respect private property
People have proven they cannot social distance and continue to litter, especially valley visitors. We are a small community with little health care resources. We are not ready for this!!!
I'm 67 years young. Please delay the influx of visitors until we have a treatment, cure or vaccine We seniors pick up our nutritional lunches three times a week at Lake Gregory. We all want to stay healthy too
I have stayed quarantined 100% with my 3 kids for 43 days- so that we dont spread infection. We have not even seem grandparents!! Keep people home!!
Look at the beaches today in Orange County. More crowded than memorial day. Ignorance and selfish
Please stop the total invasion of so many careless people not following any safety rules. Total chaos. Help.

Today when I walked the lake there were 3 kayakers out on the lake and 2 paddle boarders. These people obviously were not locals and felt they had the right to just launch their crafts along with partying on the shore near the bridge and Leisure Shores. It can only get worse on Saturday/Sunday with nobody managing/policing the lake.
