The Mayor and NYRR are still trying to force this marathon through our broken streets while residents struggle to find food and fuel. This race is an insult to every person digging their neighborhood out of the wreckage. We are not letting them ignore the reality of this city just to protect their bottom line.

My neighborhood is completely destroyed and we are literally struggling to eat. This is so tone deaf.
SHAME ON THE MAYOR. Priorities are completely backward.
This is disgusting. My street is a mess and you guys are worried about marathon logistics.
So insensitive. People are suffering but let's just make sure the runners have a clear path? Ridiculous.
Focus on the recovery effort instead of this nonsense.
