Mr Ratan Naval Tata,

Chairman Emeritus,

Tata Sons Ltd.

Respected Sir,

We, the pilots of Tata Group of Airlines, have always been committed to our airline's success and have gone above and beyond to ensure that we provide our passengers with the best possible experience. We take great pride in our work and the role that we play in representing the Tata group and our country on the global stage.

However, we are currently facing a difficult situation with the current HR department. We feel that we are not being treated with the respect and dignity that we deserve as employees of Air India. As a result, our morale is low, and we are concerned that this will have a negative impact on our ability to perform our duties to the best of our abilities.

We understand that the challenges facing Air India are complex, and we are committed to working with the company to find solutions that will benefit all stakeholders. However, we feel that our concerns are not being heard or addressed by the current HR team.

We are therefore respectfully requesting your assistance in addressing these issues. We would not have disturbed you had this issue not been this important. But as the Chairman Emeritus of Air India, we believe that your benevolent leadership can help us to find a solution that is fair and respectful to all parties involved. We are confident that with your support, we can continue to work together towards achieving our shared vision of making Air India the best airline in the world.

We are hopeful that you will take the time to read our letter and consider our request.

Sincerely

I am truly overwhelmed by the steady stream of stories arriving in my inbox from colleagues across the fleet. It is your shared commitment to our professional integrity that keeps this work moving forward despite the silence we are currently meeting from the other side. This momentum belongs entirely to you and your refusal to let our collective concerns be ignored.

Dear Mr Tata, There are people with little or no aviation background ruining this industry. I hope you listen to us and help us in improving the working environment and restore the glory of aviation as it was in the past.

Air Asia pilots are most disappointed as there is no association to represent us and the so called managers of ours are just looking after their personal benefits and not that of the workforce. I sincerely hope we will get fair treatment and given what we deserve. Thank you .

Sir, injustice and unfair to treat Pilots like this. These signs of anxiety and stress created by HR dept within the pilot community in Air India is not good for the Airline as a whole. We need your urgent intervention and help. Thank you.

Please don’t discriminate between Indian Pilots and Foreign Pilots . Why are Indian Pilots being treated like a third class citizen in their own country

It's unfortunate that an attempt is being made to convert highly skilled and dedicated Pilots to bonded labour , I am certain that HR of AIRINDIA has drafted the bond without approval of higher authorities and definitely not ,our most respected and humane , Shri TATA Ji. Request just show this agreement to him and he will put an end to this episode!

Dear Sir, your name is synonymous with trust and integrity. However HR of AirIndia is trying to treat AI pilots against ethos of Tata Sons. Your intervention is needed to correct their wrongdoings. Regards

The Great Ratan Tata the philanthropist India has ever seen deserves this little gesture for his contributions to the Nation and Society.

It has been our frustratingly long observation that expats are paid almost two and half times salary compared to local Indians. Add to that they get so much better lifestyle and commuting contact with travel, accommodation and tax benefits. Is it a crime to be an Indian working for an Indian company? No wonder we see brain drain and talent migration which is completely avoidable, if we come out of this colonial mindset. Someone has to take a lead and bring in change and who better than you sir, being a true nationalist and patriot.
