He deserves this promotion to Detective he's an active decent good young man and productive to our community he stood for what every parent wants their child to achieve and be his parents did a good job raising him and they all deserve this honor

He deserves it. He was brutally murdered and it's was his goal to be a cop even thou that didn't help the poor baby survive.

As a retired detective, I would have been honored to work with this young man. He was a person of character, staying out of trouble, despite being surrounded by it. He wanted to make a difference. I believe that he did make a positive difference and that the NYPD should honor him.
