In the Fifth Congressional District primary Kendra Horn received 44% of the vote while Tom Guild received 18% of the vote triggering a runoff election. The day before the election, Guild was seen and photographed removing Kendra Horn's signs from private property. Security video confirmed this, and Guild admitted responsibility. Given Guild's actions and the 26% advantage Horn has over Guild, the best course of action would be for Guild to withdraw from the race allowing Horn and the Democratic party to focus resources on beating the Republican incumbent in November. For the good of the State and the Party, we respectfully request Guild end this runoff by withdrawing before the Friday deadline.
The photographic evidence remains clear. It is time to move forward and focus entirely on defeating the incumbent.

The momentum is undeniable now. It is time for Guild to listen to the people.

Registered Democrat and voter in this district. We deserve better than this type of behavior. I'm a teacher and wouldn't accept this from my students. We certainly shouldn't accept this from people who want to represent us!

I am in utter disgust of the disrespect Mr Guild showed to not only Kendra Horn, but to me as a lifelong Democrat who donated to her from my teacher’s salary & gave many volunteer hours posting signs. He didn’t just steal from Kendra but IMO he stole from me! It is time for you to do the right thing Mr Guild and step aside so the Democrats can focus their efforts on the general instead of dealing with this type of unethical behavior and lack of character by one of our own. Do the right thing Mr Guild!

The classy thing to do would be to step down and work for Kendra. She has a chance. Let's take that seat! Tom stole campaign signs. Not someone I want representing me. Ever.

I love Tom, I do. But after his recent actions against Kendra Horn I feel it would be best to drop out and let her continue with her campaign.

I’m disgusted she has to waste money that could be used in the general election to try and win another one. She was the clear winner and his actions speak louder than any words he could say!

Tom Guild's character in stealing his opponent's campaign signs speaks volumes about his effectiveness in office. Considering his low percentage of votes received, he should honorably concede to Ms. Horn.
