Request to Return Father Leatherby to PBVM

Nothing about this situation makes any sense to us who have struggled to raise our kids as strong and faithful Catholics, and who are trying to live out our vocations faithfully. Your words ring hollow and the silence is deafening.

We are praying for you to find The Way out of this mess, follow Jesus only, be brave, break the silence, shatter the evil subculture that has infiltrated the priesthood and episcopacy, be the Faithful Shepherd we need. Please restore the purity of Our Lord Jesus Christ’s church. We need good faithful Marian priests and a priest should not be punished for reporting any unchaste activity. It offends God & God knows what you are doing even if you want to pretend you can hide or justify unholy grave sins

Put this good priest back in the parishes where he belongs! So disappointed in you, Bishop Soto! I am a Catholic parishioner in Contra Costa County. We are blessed to have the leadership of Bishop Barber, thanks be to God.

My husband and I support the return of Fr Leatherby to his parish ministry. His preaching has touched so many lives. We need holy priests like him.

A fine priest who is very much missed, Please return him to our parish. We pray for him every day and need him back. I know the Blesseed Mother is hearing our prayers to her son. Jesus loves us all and forgives all. PLEASE return Father to our parish.

Now, more than ever, we need this fine priest serving alongside fellow Holy brother priests.

Bishop Soto, with due respect, please allow Father Leatherby's case to be heard, clear his good name and return him to his ministry at the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary where he has done so much that is good and holy.

Bring Father Leatherby back to Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish. We need him.

Father Leatherby married my son and his wife and, officiated at many other ceremonies by our family at his parish ! We have been gravely affected by Father Leatherby’s absence !

Praying and fasting for you Bishop Soto. There are many things you, Bishop Soto, need to address regarding your fidelity to His Church and Her teachings including the lost fidelity of some priests in the diocese that have been hidden and have been exposed to the light of truth.

I most certainly support the petition to return Father Leatherby to the priesthood
