Request to reconsider critical issues that impact our Village

It is time we have our input and views expressed in the happenings in our Village.
We have come a long way since I moved in 1979. Our voice is more heard and we have been represented in the governing body. But still we have a way to go. Let’s be active and make this Village of ours a home for the next generation.

i commend the Board for realizing that we OW suffers from high taxes that can only be brought under control by by rational , deliberate , and a thoughtful zoning master plan..

I think the Board of Trustees handled this poorly in terms of information and procedure. Residents should be better informed and everyone should be entitled to vote on the matter.

I think we should have high end architecturally significant cluster housing on the Phipps Estate that would preserve the existing specimen plantings. Why can’t we have the equivalent number of cluster units as we would have if we had houses on 2 acres?

I wouldn’t mind reviewing but I believe the process needs to be fully transparent. The community should have a say in the size and scope of these developments and should be allowed to be bidded on by multiple and appropriate developers.

This project will allow people like me to stay in the village and retire here. I have been a resident for close to 20 years.
