My dearest friends and kind strangers, it has come to my attention that I have been shadow banned from Tinder. For those that are unaware, a shadow ban is as follows: “The act of blocking or partially blocking a user or their content from an online community such that it will not be readily apparent to the user that they have been banned.” Long story short, my dating profile is no longer featured on dating apps. This is due to the fact that I have swiped right on most profiles in an effort to give myself more success on the dating site. Tinder has it’s own algorithm that flags users who do this and ultimately stops their profile from being seen. I understand this is my own fault and I deserve this punishment. I assure you that I have learned from my ways and wont be selective. The reason I cannot simply create a new profile is because Tinder uses device recognition and requires you to use your cell phone number to create an account. This leaves me at an impasse. However, with your help and support I have hope that I can get the shadow ban lifted and get back to looking for my soul mate.
