Dear Mr. Guidée,

紀博偉先生您好：

Nous, soussignés, parents français d'élèves scolarisés au Lycée Français de Taipei, soutenus par les parents d'élèves de toutes nationalités du LFT, vous demandons de maintenir une position ferme, défendant nos valeurs françaises, dans les discussions actuelles en vue du renouvellement du partenariat AEFE du LFT avec la TES.

We, the undersigned, French parents of students attending the Lycée Français de Taipei (LFT-French Section), with the support of parents of other FS students of all nationalities, ask you to maintain a firm position in the current discussions for the renewal the AEFE Partnership Agreement between the LFT-FS and TES in the name of our French values.

我們是目前就讀台北法國學校的家長，在校內不同國籍學生家長的支持下，在此請求您就當前與台北法國學校，台北歐洲學校與法國海外教育署的續約討論中保持堅定的立場，以捍衛我們的法國核心價值。

En août 2017, le mode de gouvernance de la TES a été unilatéralement et illégalement modifié, excluant toute représentation de parents élus au sein de l’entité décisionnelle de la TES. Nous avons noté, depuis, des manquements graves de la TES aux règles de gestion et d'éthique les plus fondamentales, ceux-ci nous faisant craindre pour la pérennité de notre lycée, puisque le Président du Board of Directors (BOD) suit un objectif clair: la fusion des 4 sections de la TES en une seule et unique école. Cette fusion implique l’augmentation de 30 à 40% des frais de scolarité du LFT (réduisant ainsi l’accès au LFT de certaines familles françaises) et la disparition de supervision de la TES par les parents ou des parties tierces.

The governance of the TES was unilaterally and illegally amended in August 2017, excluding any representation of elected parents within the school’s decision-making body. Since then, we have noted the TES’s serious failures regarding the most fundamental rules of management and ethics, which make us fear for the future of our high school, knowing that the President of the Board of Directors (BOD) has a clear goal: combining the TES four sections into a single school. This merger implies the increase of 30 to 40% of the LFT-FS tuition fees (thus reducing the access of some French families to the LFT-FS) and the disappearance of any TES supervision by parents or third parties.

2017年 8月，台北歐洲學校的治理模式被單方面非法改制，將合法產生的學校父母代表屏除在外。自此以後，台北歐洲學校的管理標準和道德規範再再受到嚴重的質疑，這使得我們擔心法國學校中學部未來的永續性發展，因為台北歐洲學校四個部門將朝向一個統合的目標邁進。這項合併統合決策意味著：台北法國學校的學費將在未來調漲 30-40%（這將會限制並減少法國家庭進入法國學校以及無家長或無第三方監督台北歐洲學校

Dans ce contexte, nous ne pouvons accepter que l'Etat français, par l’intermédiaire de l'AEFE et du représentant du BFT, négocie un nouveau partenariat moins fort avec une organisation qui s'engage dans une direction contraire aux intérêts des enfants scolarisés et de ceux à être scolarisés.

Accordingly, we cannot accept that the French State, through AEFE and French Office representative, would negotiate a new, weaker partnership with an organization engaged in a direction contrary to the interests of the current and future students of our school.

因此，我們無法接受法國海外教育署和法國在台辦事處，重新簽署一個較弱的合作關係合約，這迫使我們的學校和學生站在一個不利的情況。

Par conséquent, nous requérons, comme condition préliminaire et minimale à tout renouvellement de ce partenariat que le BFT exige la reconnaissance officielle par la TES d'un conseil de gestion:

We, therefore, call on the French Office to require a formal recognition by TES of a French Section Council, as a preliminary and minimal condition for any renewal of this partnership agreement, that is:

在此，我們要求法國在台辦事處要求台北歐洲學校正式承認法國董事會，作為續簽該合作協議的最低條件，即：

• composé de parents élus démocratiquement par les parents d'élèves du LFT et d’un représentant de l'AEFE;
  composed of parents democratically elected by the parents of FS students and a representative of the AEFE;
• 組織成員由台北法國學校學生家長和法國海外教育署代表民主 選舉產生組成。
• ayant un pouvoir décisionnel sur:
  having decision-making power over:

  • le budget (donc les frais de scolarité) du LFT,
    the budget (and thus the tuition fees) of the FS,
  • 預算（包含法國部的學費漲幅）
  • la politique d’admission du LFT et,
    the admission policy of the FS and,
  • 法國部的錄取政策
  • le recrutement du Chef d’établissement du LFT;
    the recruitment of the FS’s head;
  • 法國部校長的任聘
• protégeant l’homologation AEFE du curriculum du LFT.
  protecting the AEFE certification of the FS curriculum.
• 保護法國部受法國海外教育署的課程認證

Nous comptons sur votre soutien afin de garantir la pérennité de ce lycée qui fête cette année ses 30 ans. Par respect pour ses fondateurs, parents comme nous, ayant à coeur l’éducation et le bien-être de leurs enfants, nous vous sommons de soutenir les valeurs républicaines en proposant une gestion démocratique (partagée avec les parents et basée sur les bonnes pratiques) où la pensée critique aura sa place, et qui défendra l’égalité d’accès à l’éducation en français à l’ensemble de nos compatriotes et des francophiles.

We are counting on your support to ensure the future of this French school that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Out of respect for its founders, parents like us, having at heart the education and the well-being of their children, we urge you to support the republican values by proposing a democratic management (shared with the parents and based on good practices) where critical thinking will be valued, and which will defend the equality of access to education in French for all our compatriots and Francophiles of Taiwan.
