Request to substantially reduce the $24 admission fee to the 9/11 Museum at the World Trade Center.
The $24 admission fee, set by The National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center disserves society and undermines the Memorial mission to remember and honor the thousands of innocent men, women and children murdered by terrorists in the horrific attacks on our country. Such an exorbitant fee will selectively deny the opportunity to visit this National Monument to those who cannot afford it, and impede the public at large from visiting the Museum to learn about 9/11 and honor all lives lost. The 9/11 Terrorist attack was unprecedented tragedy for all Americans, and families who lost their loved ones on that horrific day expect that the admission fee to the 9/11 Museum will be reduced and be more affordable for all visitors to the World Trade Center Memorial site. We appeal to Federal, New York State and New York City Government to allocate funds for 9/11 Museum. We also appeal to the September 11 Memorial & Museum, and the World Trade Center Foundation to implement efficient fundraising strategies and substantially reduce the Museum admission fee to make 9/11 Museum inexpensive to the public.
