I am from an Indian school in Kuwait under CBSE board .This year Maths paper was very lengthy and tricky. In addition to that most of the questions were out of NCERT. Neither I nor my friends have heard of a single student who has been able to attempt the paper to the best of our abilities as well as not able to complete the paper. This isn't just a matter of marks. Our futures depend on it. Its not just a matter of admission to good colleges in India or the Indian institutes of technology, though those are the most obvious things that will be affected by your decision to set such papers. Accountancy paper was extremely lengthy and involved huge amount of calculations.

Due to this, it was difficult to complete the paper and many questions were left unsolved. Please do understand that many of us have been doing back breaking work for the past 2 years just for this one examination and this is not how we want to be rewarded for our efforts. Students may lose confidence in their own abilities after performing badly in board exams? Well, with these papers, that number will increase tenfold, unless you do something to change that.

This paper seemed like of more than three hours paper. This exam would drop the percentage playing with our future. As accountancy is the main subject of commerce stream, this would lead to an overall percentage drop. I urge the board to consider the matter seriously and take necessary steps to award atleast 15-20 grace marks and check these papers leniently.
