This is not what Jesus Christ taught. He said to obey the commandments...scripture tells us that homosexuality, and crossdressing is an abomination....of course we are not to judge but we also are not to condone this.

As a convert who was a former LGBTQI ally and who has seen the damage that pro-sex ideology has done in the lives of both gay and straight people, I sincerely hope this is not a continuing trend in Orthodoxy. It is a sanctuary for me. I have friends who are HIV positive and I myself was raped . Embracing LGBTQI culture as it currently exists, with it’s reckless views of sexuality, is both physically and spiritually harmful. Making a space for those with same-sex attractions must fall within the bounds of Orthodox faith and culture. The denominations that have embraced LGBTQI culture as-is are dying. Please don’t lose the last sanctuary of orthodox Christian teaching on sexuality.

Most Reverend Hierarchs, with all respect and honor, we beg of you, please do not remain silent regarding these issues any longer. The longer the silence continues, the more severe the damage becomes to the faithful and the clergy.

While I love all people, the Church needs to stand firm on this behavior.

The Church must keep to the teaching of the Holy Scriptures and Her Tradition. She must speak the Truth in love to the faithful and the surrounding society.

Essentializing the passions leads to a different understanding of how God created the human person and thus bears directly on our understanding how our Lord saves man and the cosmos.

Loving Christ, Who is the Truth and the Light, we must speak the Truth in Love. We must love and pray for those who are deceived by the evil one and pray that we may not be deceived as well. Lord have mercy.

This is outrageous! We don't need the Bishops to gather and clarify whether or not homosexuality is a sin or if same sex marriages are 'ok' . Our holy scriptures have those answers. The gays already have a church, Roman Catholicism.
