I agree. Orthodoxy should not be subject to change. If anyone wants change, let them go somewhere else outside of Orthodoxy. We believe in His teachings. Times may have changed, but as far as I know God is still the same. He has not changed along with the times.

This is the time for the leaders of the Church to stand for the truth that has been given to The Holy Orthodox Church by Christ Himself. STAND FAST AND HOLD TO THE FAITH REVEALED TO US.

I don’t want what happened to the Protestant and Catholic Churches to happen to Orthodoxy. I want that “static” traditional Church of the fathers apostles and Jesus Christ.

I sign this petition willingly against all kinds of heresies and heretics, all kinds of abominations (LGBT), pedophilia etc. trying to be associated to the Orthodox Faith whether coming from the Clergy or the Laity. This my signature serve as a proof to withstand such practices and rejects them as satanic in order to preserve the faith.

your eminences, your graces, Please do not continue to allow these subversive types to pervade our academic and theological conferences. They preach a different gospel, and when we ask who sent them, they never list apostles or bishops, but rather those benefactors who establish grants for "dialogue" for the sake of confusing the Orthodox Faithful.

Unity in fidelity to the Ancient Faith, not compromise with evil by calling it good. Paul warned of this!

The introduction of theological novum on this topic is a grave misstep. We are all instructed to live our lives in repentance, and to flee from sin - sin which is eternally consistent. The position doesn't make sense without adopting nominalist philosophy - which ultimately is a gnosticism in disguise. Christ didn't come to "affirm" sinners, but to transform them

I came back to the church after quite a few years and came back to find a very different approach to the Orthodoxy I once knew. I was assured by my spiritual father that our church wasn't liberal as the Protestant churches, that it didn't change since Acts. This is not what I have been seeing and it's discouraging not just to me, but to new converts who long for a church which stands by the right path.

Our faith beautiful and complex draws clearly defined dogmatic and patristic teachings on the issue of homosexuality. Homosexuality is against nature and is purely about the gratification of the flesh through carnal means. It is disheartening to see our “leader” supporting and encouraging this type of weaponized sexual politics.

I leave in NYC, and was going to Cathedral of Holy virgin protection Orthodox Church on 2nd ave 2nd street in Manhattan with head priest there Christopher Calin. Whatever is described in this article I witnessed with my own eyes in the cathedral, which was full of homosexual people, who were publicly declaring and were proud of themselves as homosexual orthodox Christians. I complained to MICHAEL, bishop of NY, and even to Mitropolit Tikhon himself With actual proved materials like photos, and writings/comments etc., but did not get any reply at all. Of course I left the cathedral along with my family (wife and two kids) right away after I realized what was going on there. In addition my children were thought at Sunday school by publicly homosexual teachers! Fr. Christopher in addition of supporting homosexuals also was eagerly supporting abortion, without any ambiguity, directly writing articles/comments about it on his Facebook page, misleading all his clergy off true orthodox Christian teaching.

It is time for the Church to recommit to the historic witness of the Orthodox Church through the ages.
