Request To All Orthodox Bishops In America To Take Action Against False Teachings

I want to point out that the petition especially calls attention to the problem of Orthodox teachers and those in holy orders who are misled and misleading, not primarily to those who are engaging in s.s. behavior. It is the teachers and leaders who bear the greatest responsibility in this matter. There are two sins: the actual behavior, and teaching that it is not sinful and damaging.

This is very saddening, Fordham Univeristy in New York have been pushing Marxist & LGBT agendas that are incompatible to the Church. We all struggle with sin, but we fight it and therefore produce a state of theoria & theosis. The individuals at this University(and it's a Jesuit University, it's here to succumb and destroy the Church and its values and dogmas), don't seem to "Go and Sin no-more" like our Lord stated, but believe it's normal or atleast compatiable with the Orthodox faith, with their pouncey articles. I urge that you stop these goats in sheeps clothing before it's too late. We will become like Anglicanism & Roman Catholicism, a moral mess. Thanks & Slava Bogu.

Let's remove these types of degenerative elements from the Church!

We as Christians cannot go the way of the world. We must engage with sinners and the unbelievers, yes, but we cannot lower ourselves to supporting their death-dealing ideologies. That isn’t love, that isn’t understanding, that is letting people we should love and care for die in their sins with cowardly justifications from those who should be *pastors*(shepherds) to them. Even in a pragmatic sense, if you’re just trying to keep the more “progressive” people in the Church, this dishonest tactic has proven time and again to be ineffectual and we can see this in the sharp decline of the mainline Protestant denominations which continue to die even as they capitulate and grovel before the progressives. You are not responsible to appease the “refined tastes” of those who hate the Church. They will never respect us and never join us no matter how deeply we capitulate. They just want to see us destroyed. Your responsibility is to the sheep and to the repentant that are seeking the true Church of Christ. I know you will make the right decision. If not, there is always another jurisdiction we will find refuge in and , though the Church is not a democracy, we will vote with our feet. Please pray for us and do not succumb to pressure from the world.

Please consider looking into this serious problem.

Such people, as the one depicted above, should be publicly called to repentance - since they make a public spectacle of their sinful lifestyle. If they do not repent publicly, our Hierarchs should not hesitate to move to excommunicate such from the Orthodox Church.

Protect the flock from ravening wolves! Silence implies consent. We support this petition.

I stand with my brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, and plead that you voice against this festering plague in our beloved Church!

Shameful behavior from within the Orthodox Church, the True faith! The Holy Fathers speak against this, why do not our hierarchs?

For Gods' sake- Speak up and speak out against this sinful foolishness!

There is no place in Orthodoxy for this type of behavior.

The number of false teachers and progressive academics who openly promote the homosexualist agenda and oppose the Orthodox Church Tradition and teachings is growing. Quite a few of these individuals openly and proudly self-identify as “homosexual” or “LGBT,” some are women “married” to other women, others are men “married” to other men, and some were deposed by the Orthodox Church. Others abandoned the Orthodox Church to become priestesses in other churches. All want to radically change the Orthodox Church teaching and Tradition to accommodate distorted and corrupt ideas. We beg our Fathers in Christ to protect our people from savage wolves out of the love we know they have for their flock and for the Truth.

As a Presbyter, my job is to pastor people toward salvation. Encouraging unOrthodox anthropology and sexuality does not serve to that end. It's inappropriate for those teaching in our seminaries to give even the appearance of siding with the world on this. May God bring them to repentance and salvation!
