I request the Resignation of the majority of SCOTUS (Kagan, Sotomayor, Breyer, Ginsburg, Kennedy, Roberts), who delivered two unconstitutional decrees on June 25 & 26, 2015 and POTUS, Who has broken a number of U.S. laws.

[You do not have to be a veteran to sign this petition.]

A Petition for the Resignation of SCOTUS and POTUS - a brief rationale.

Every Veteran once took an oath:

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Do you remember the words above? You will note that the oath of enlistment has no expiration date. We still must work to defend this Constitution. When in uniform, many of us were deployed against foreign enemies. We knew what that meant. Once out of uniform, our discharge papers released us from the authority of the President and those officers over us. But we typically continue to support the Constitution as veterans by just being a good citizen and voting - until last week.

Last week, a tipping point was reached.

According to the words issued June 25 & 26, 2015 by the minority voice of the Supreme Court Of The United States (SCOTUS), our constitution is under a clear, illegal assault from a thin majority of of the court. If this is true, then we have a clear case of "domestic" enemies assaulting the U.S. Constitution. Consider the accusations made by none other than the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court:

Chief Justice Roberts wrote,“The majority today neglects that restrained conception of the judicial role. It seizes for itself a question the Constitution leaves to the people."

Roberts makes clear that the court has usurped the constitution as he continued, "Celebrate the achievement of a desired goal. Celebrate the opportunity for a new expression of commitment to a partner. Celebrate the availability of new benefits. But do not celebrate the Constitution. It had nothing to do with it."

Justice Antonin Scalia wrote, " Today’s decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court.... This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine... robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776: the freedom to govern themselves."

Again, Scalia writes, "Since there is no doubt whatever that the People never decided to prohibit the limitation of marriage to opposite-sex couples, the public debate over same-sex marriage must be allowed to continue. But the Court ends this debate, in an opinion lacking even a thin veneer of law."

Scalia continues, "…to allow the policy question of same-sex marriage to be considered and resolved by a select, patrician, highly unrepresentative panel of nine is to violate a principle even more fundamental than no taxation without representation: no social transformation without representation."

On the Obamacare decision this week, Scalia declared: "[T]he cases will publish forever the discouraging truth that the Supreme Court of the United States favors some laws over others, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to uphold and assist its favorites,"

Justice Samuel Alito wrote, "Today's decision usurps the constitutional right of the people to decide whether to keep or alter the traditional understanding of marriage... All Americans, whatever their thinking on that issue, should worry about what the majority's claim of power portends."

Anthony Kennedy accused the court in the 2012 Obamacare dissent, writing, "The values that should have determined our course today are caution, minimalism, and the understanding that the Federal Government is one of limited powers. But the Court’s ruling undermines those values at every turn. In the name of restraint, it overreaches. In the name of constitutional avoidance, it creates new constitutional questions. In the name of cooperative federalism, it undermines state sovereignty."

Our own Supreme Court has made it clear that the majority of SCOTUS has pushed aside the Constitution of the U.S. and has become a cancer, a domestic enemy eating away at our Constitution from the inside.

But SCOTUS is not the only branch of government assaulting the Constitution.

POTUS (The President of the United States) has willfully broken U.S. laws and sometimes flaunted doing so:

-Broke the welfare reform law by negating work requirements.

-Broke bankruptcy laws by requiring the payment of unions over the bond holders with G.M. and Chrysler thus pillaging the retirement accounts of millions of Americans.

-Violated federal campaign laws and the WARN Act by pushing military contractors to not issue layoff notices just prior to his 2012 re-election.

-Broke the 2006 Secure Fence Act which required that "at least two layers of reinforced fencing" be built along America's 650-mile border with Mexico. It is POTUS's job to execute these orders. He refused.

-Used bribery or quid pro quo to obtain the necessary votes for the passage of Obamacare. Two of these bribes include the $100 million "Cornhusker Kickback" to get Republican Ben Nelson's vote and the $300 million "Louisiana Purchase" to get the vote of moderate Democrat, Mary Landrieu.

These are just a few of the bigger felonies with which we are aware. POTUS has likewise lied to the U.S. public:

-POTUS lied saying the cost of Obamacare would be $1 Trillion over 10 years when the CBO was clear that the cost was $2.4 trillion and yet in reality will be $10 trillion over 10 years.

-POTUS lied to congress and the people of the U.S. saying that our U.S ambassador and three others were killed in Libya in a "spontaneous uprising" in response to an anti-muslim video when he in fact knew that this was a well planned assault by al Qaeda planned for the anniversary of 9/11.

And when POTUS could not get his legislation passed by congress, he began legislating through Executive Order and Executive Memoranda.

-21 Executive Orders were issued in one day restricting second amendment rights even requiring doctors and hospitals to investigate gun ownership of law abiding citizens who seek medical care.

-When he could not get the "Dream Act" passed in congress, POTUS legislated the Dream Act by Executive Order.

The abrogation of the U.S. constitution by SCOTUS and POTUS is great.

SO,

What should veterans who have sworn to "support and defend" the Constitution against such domestic enemies do?

1. Ask them to resign (it is the proper first step in a democracy). Sign the petition requesting the resignation of the SCOTUS majority (in the June 25 & 26, 2015 decisions) and POTUS by July 30, 2015. And encourage veterans and non-veterans to do the same.

2. If response to this request is negative, ask for Constitutional procedures for impeachment of the SCOTUS majority and POTUS be quickly begun by congressional representatives.

Some may think that we only need to wait out the next 2 years. But SCOTUS is with us for life. And POTUS has made it clear that he desires to "fundamentally change" our country and the next 2 years will be his sprint to finish the transformation and apparently destroy the Constitution in the process.

Is signing a petition too much for us? Then we know nothing of the courage which founded this country when the signers of the Declaration of Independence said that they, "mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor."

If we do not act now, we willfully succumb to a post-Constitutional America.

Please let it be known that in NO way is this email intended to influence anyone to pursue a course of action outside of legal means. Let us reason together and let us act now.

Sincerely,

Rev. Patrick V. Dye
